Netbooks have taken the world by storm and it was only a matter of time until Sony joined the race. The Vaio P was not designed to be a netbook but something new entirely. Saying that, people in the market for an upscale netbook will surely be tempted by this little wonder. The Sony Vaio P was certainly worth the wait. It is the lightest notebook on the market today, weighing in at 1.4 pounds, less than 1 inch thick, with an 8-inch screen- this notebook has the power of a larger notebook packed into a tiny package.
You can even run Vista on this little gadget, as it has a fast processor and 2GB of RAM. Tiny is certainly the word that comes to mind as this device can fit right into your purse or small bag. Incredibly stylish looking, the Sony P comes in four colours to choose from- white, pink, green or black. The Sony P is designed to put the Internet in your hands no matter where and when.
Its 1600 x 768 resolution displays the full width of a web page, so you don’t have to side scroll while web browsing. It also supports Microsoft office applications, video and music players so you can take your work and favourite past times with you all over the world.
It has two USB 2.0 ports but to hook it up to an external monitor, an external connector is needed but it is capable of outputting full HD 1600 x 1200 resolution, which is pretty impressive for such a small machine. It also has wireless in-built, Bluetooth and GPS. No Internet connection is required for the turn-by-turn GPS navigation. You’ll never be lost again. The intelligent GPS technology allows you to find nearby places of interest like restaurants and hotels.
